ఆకివీడు ప్రధాన రహదారి వెంబడి మురుగు సమస్య పరిష్కరించే దిశగా కొన్ని నెలల కిందట సీసీ డ్రయినేజీ నిర్మాణం ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ పనులు నత్తనడకన సాగుతున్నాయి. కాలువ కోసం తవ్విన మట్టిని పక్కనే గుట్టలుగా వేసి ఉండటంతో స్థానికులు, వాహన చోదకులు నిత్యం అవస్థలు పడుతున్నారు.

A few months ago, the construction of a CC (Cement Concrete) drainage system was started along the main road of Akividu to solve the sewage problem. These works are progressing at a snail's pace. As the soil excavated for the canal has been left in heaps on the side, locals and motorists are facing daily hardships.
